What is the Digital Transformation Tool?
The Digital Transformation tool consists of a comprehensive set of research backed questions that focus on the 4 domains of Teaching, Learning, Managing and Leading. It will assess your schools digital capability and will inform senior leadership how to improve, all of which can be used to formulate your Digital Strategic Plan.
Why has it been created and who is the Digital Transformation Tool for?
The Digital Transformation Tool has been designed to provide quantifiable and measurable evidence to help senior leaders and school principals improve their schools digital capability.
How long will it take to complete?
The tool takes just over an hour to complete, if all four domains are addressed at once. However, the preference should be to focus on one domain at a time by involving the teachers and senior leaders from that particular area.
Is our data secure?
Absolutely. We are committed to protecting your privacy. Your test responses and results are confidential and will not be shared without your consent. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Do I have to complete the tool all at once?
No. Your answers will be saved as you progress, so you can come back and complete at any time. Typically, each domain would be completed separately with the support of lead teachers most familiar with that domain, giving greater flexibility for its use.
Who at my school should complete the tool?
You can determine which staff members have the knowledge and capacity to respond to the specific domain questions. Typically it will be your principal and department heads who complete the tool.
Is the tool suited to my school jurisdiction?
Yes. It doesn't matter where your school is located in Australia, because this tool has been created with a national focus.
What is the difference between the silver, gold, and custom subscriptions?
The questions you answer in the tool itself are the same no matter what subscription level you choose. A Gold subscription provides you with a 1hr virtual consultation with one of our experts who will identify where to focus your efforts on improvements so they have the most impact. Gold subscribers will also be able to see how they compare against similar schools. Custom subscriptions are ideal for multiple schools, and will be tailored accordingly.
Can I retake the tool to measure our school improvement?
Yes. You can login and retake the tool at any time during your valid subscription. You will even get a comparison against your earlier results. We recommend retaking the tool periodically to clearly identify progress that has been made and focus on new areas for improvement.
Can I try the tool before I commit to a paid subscription?
Absolutely. You will be able complete a sample of the actual tool once the tool is live. Be sure to register your interest and you will be notified as soon as the tool 'goes live' in January 2026.
How long is my subscription for?
All plans provide you with access to the Digital Transformation Tool for a minimum of 12 months. You can elect to pay by monthly installments, or upfront to receive a discount. At the end of your 12 month subscription you will be provided with the option to extend for another year or close your account.
